' Make me sweet again, fragrant and fresh and wild, thankful for any small event. ' ~ Rumi
I feel like I have fallen in some twisted time warp. Yesterday, I celebrated my 30th journey around the sun. Of course, I had a beautifully marvelous day. However, I am somehow left with the inner confusion of ~ How did that happen? Where exactly did all those years go? How did they pass so quickly?
But as I have a blissy birthday spa weekend in Budapest, compliments of my hubs, I don’t think I’ll contemplate my conundrum for too long. Instead I’ll pluck-up and go pack my rucksack while munching on my last slice of left-over Dediquantum cake.
(For the nosey peeps wondering what was on the rest of my raw gastronomic birthday menu, it was wild mushroom quiche, parsnip rice sushi, massaged kale salad w/sweet miso dressing, chocolate buckwheatie krispies, fresh strawberries and Kate Magic’s Dediquantum cake iced with my beetroot-coloured frosting and raspberries.)
