I haven't disappeared - although it might feel like it. But really I am on a walkabout with my family. We sold-up our London abode early in January and have been globetrotting ever since.
We've touched down in Morocco, Ecuador and dotted various European countries en route to Croatia, where we are now.
With the salty sea by my side and ample sun, my morning outdoor yoga practice has been transformed by the heavenly scent of pine and lavender. So far Croatia has been the most stirring to my self-practice. My appetite to twist, turn, unfurl and wrap pours out on to my mat here. It hasn't always been the case in our other locales, where it felt like my yoga habit was done more out of duty than desire.
Our diets aren't completely raw (not that we have ever sustained 100% raw for great lengths of time anyway), but we are enjoying the bountiful fresh produce - cherries and apricots call to us daily.
Travelling vegan has been fairly easy too, especially as we tend to self-cater. My outlook on our diet hasn't changed greatly either - we still eat vegan and strive to eat as much raw as possible.
However, I recently read a book - Animal, Vegetable, Miracle by Barbara Kingsolver - that has me questioning the way we eat. Click here to read more about this.
As our epic travelling journey continues to unfold I'll be sure to share how my yoga rituals, raw/vegan eating and mothering metamorphose.
